Incoming Kindergarten:
If your child was born in 2020, you may submit a Kindergarten Admission application. 
Applications are made one of three ways:
  • Online with MySchools in English, Spanish, Chinese, Bengali, Russian, Arabic, Urdu, Haitian Creole, Korean, or French. We’ll let you know when the application opens and you can apply online!
  • By phone at 718-935-2009.
  • By contacting a Family Welcome Center
  • All families, including those of students with disabilities and current pre-K students should submit an application.  For more information, visit www.nyc/gov/schools/kindergarten or call 718-935-2009.
Kindergarten offers will be made in June. Your offer letter will tell you where your child will go to kindergarten in the fall. It will also tell you where your child is waitlisted.
 
Grades 1-5:
If you are interested in applying for student that will be in Elementary Grades 1 to 5 – please fill out an Application Form (https://form.jotform.com/242743132607149)  and  contact Ms. Gonzalez at agonzalez32@schools.nyc.gov for more information.
 
Incoming 6th Graders and Middle School:
For more information on the Middle School Admissions process, visit http://schools.nyc.gov/ChoicesEnrollment/Middle. If your child will be in Middle School in Fall 2025, you should meet your elementary school representatives and find out about your middle school options.

Zoned schools will give priority to students who live in that zone, as they have in the past. Schools will make assignments according to the following priorities, listed from highest to lowest:

  • Zoned students with a sibling who will be in grades 1-5 at the school;
  • All other zoned students;
  • Students residing in the school’s district but outside the school’s zone, with a sibling who will be in grades 1-5 at the school;
  • Student residing outside of the school’s district with a sibling who will be in grades 1-5 at the school;
  • All other students residing in the school’s district but outside the school’s zone,
  • All other students.
